  • Review payroll reports and related general ledger entries.
  • Reconcile payroll accounts, deductions, taxes, and other payroll-related balances.
  • Investigate payroll accounting discrepancies and coordinate corrections when necessary.
  • Maintain confidentiality of employee compensation and payroll information.

General Accounting & Reconciliation

  • Perform bank, credit card, payroll, vendor, customer, and general ledger reconciliations.
  • Review account balances and investigate unusual or unsupported transactions.
  • Prepare and maintain accounting schedules and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
  • Review journal entries and accounting records for accuracy and completeness.
  • Identify accounting errors and recommend appropriate corrections.

Financial Reporting & Analysis

  • Assist with preparation and review of financial statements and management reports.
  • Prepare accounting reports, schedules, reconciliations, and supporting documentation.
  • Analyze account activity and investigate significant or unusual variances.
  • Provide accounting information and reports to management as requested.
  • Maintain organized records that support financial reporting and audit requirements.

Tax & Compliance Support

  • Assist with tax-related accounting activities and preparation of supporting schedules and records.
  • Maintain documentation needed for tax reporting and compliance processes.
  • Support the preparation of information requested by tax professionals, accountants, auditors, or authorized advisors.
  • Help ensure accounting records are properly maintained for applicable reporting requirements.
  • Do not independently submit tax returns or regulated filings unless specifically authorized and legally permitted.

Accounting Controls & Review

  • Follow Saitell's accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
  • Maintain proper segregation of duties and approval procedures.
  • Review accounting records for completeness, accuracy, and proper documentation.
  • Escalate unusual transactions, discrepancies, suspected errors, or control concerns to management.
  • Protect company, employee, vendor, and customer financial information.
